Sally the Scourge is a musical theatre piece set in 1870's New England as well as modern day Norwalk, CT. Created and written by Margaret Jackins, it features music and additional lyrics by Cheryl Kemeny. The plot follows the adventures of young Sarah (named for her 6-greats grandmother Sally) - as she searches for the truth about a diary given to her on her 11th birthday. Was her 6-greats grandmother really a pirate? As she reads the diary to her friends we see the life of Sally McCrea and her gang of female pirates acted out in front of our eyes! Performed by a talented cast of middle school aged students.
