The Hungarian Equestrian Theatre of Komarom, Hungary will perform, John the Valiant, in Hungarian with English supertitles along with a chorus of 20 Crystal Theatre performers. (the 1903 operetta written by Kacsoh Pongracz based on the epic poem by Sandor Petofi)
The first and most famous authentic Hungarian operetta was an enormous sensation when it premiered in 1903. This production is directed by famous Hungarian singer Gyorgy Derzsi and is sung in Hungarian with English supertitles. This production was developed at the Hungarian Equestrian Theatre of Komarom which is located on the northern border of Hungary with Slovakia. When performed there, it featured over 40 horses as well as the talented singers and dancers of the country. This tour features 15 Hungarian performers performing against a projected background featuring the vaunted riding of their company.
