This terrific musical by Joan McFarland is set in the depression 30’s. A “Little Rascals”-type gang of children set out to raise money for Italian Grandma Nona’s rent in order to keep the welfare lady from taking away her grandchildren, Frankie, Mickie and Gus. Meanwhile, the wealthy Dinke family is facing hard times as well. The snobby Junior, Muffy, Theda, Spencer, Cossette and Prissy must suddenly attend public school and they are not happy! It all comes to a head when the Goose Alley Gang takes on the Dinke kids in a big radio talent contest. Will the Goose Alley Gang win the money to save Nona’s home?
