Written, directed, and choreographed by Crystal Theatre Artistic Director Cheryl E. Kemeny with co-director Alexandrea Kemeny and musical director Laszlo Balazs, this show features a talented cast of 5th-9th graders and features kindergarten and 1st graders playing "Santa's Little Helpers".
Mrs. Claus’s sister, Lisa, is a big “holiday special” director in NYC who loses her job because “people aren’t interested in watching that stuff anymore”-according to her producer, Mitzi Newman. Santa has his own problems at the workshop and can’t keep up with the demand for holiday toys. His “efficiency elf” (Elsford) insists they must outsource the toy-making to China and turn the workshop into a tourist attraction—much to the chagrin of the Reindeer and other elves. Lisa comes up with the perfect solution to solve both problems-a reality show at the North Pole. She’ll also feature rising singing star, Brianna Steele, with her big hit “Secret Santa”. Meanwhile, Lisa’s 5th-grade daughter, Star, organizes a “Save Santa’s Workshop Foundation” to raise money for Santa. Her friends think she’s nuts! How can she still believe in Santa Claus? Will Star prove them wrong and save the day?
